What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

More beads, with some of them added over the seam lines between the blocks.

I like both of these, and both of yesterday’s designs.

What is not to like about beads, fabric, plastic, glass, stones … just organise them into a nice line!

Love the second design with all the seam lines between blocks covered with beads, though I would be tempted to make this a a whole cloth quilt with no seam lines until the border.

I love the second one, though once again the fans are not obvious in the design,, but I am going to play with the centre bloc design to see if I can make them look more like fans.

I like it! Pretty and scrappy, or pretty scrappy.

In the second one I know what I was trying to do by adding the contrast fan fabric, but I know I chose the wrong fabric.

Love playing with beads … I fix, modify and make a few bits of jewellery from time to time, and have been known to add beads to a quilt, and of course, love appliqueing beads to quilts, both real and virtual.

Interesting, though the fans are not going to be very effective on a hot day.

Mind you, I should have redrawn the blocks so the beads met properly. I have redrawn the blocks, but I prefer using them in new designs!

I think I would prefer this one without the sashing, but it I do like it.
